Betty J. Howell, 84, of Belvidere, NJ passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at St. Luke's Warren Campus, Phillipsburg, NJ. Born on February 4, 1931 in Wilson, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley W. Gardner and Edna Marie Johnson. Betty had been a decorator for IMCO, Belvidere, NJ for many years before retiring. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Walter Howell, who died on July 28, 2006. Surviving is a daughter, Donna Steckel and her husband John of Belvidere, NJ; a son, Dion Michael Howell and his wife Shari of Oxford, NJ; four grandchildren, Danelle Allen and her husband Scott of Belvidere, Eric C. Howell and his wife Kristina of Stroudsburg, PA, Nicole M. Howell of Oxford, Denaie McEwen and her husband Kevin of Bangor, PA; four great-grandchildren, Jared and Jordan Allen, Brayden McEwen, and Colin M. Howell.
