Earl S. Paul, 95, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at his home. Born on March 26, 1920 in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of the late Alonzo H. Paul and Laura Shafer Paul. Mr. Paul had worked for A&P in its dairy department for many years before retiring in 1990. He then worked for Abilities of Washington before fully retiring at the age of 90. Mr. Paul was a charter member of the Belvidere Ambulance Corps. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Earl was of the Presbyterian Faith. He was predeceased by his wife Edith Smith Paul, who died in 2005, and a son, Earl. Surviving are his five children, William, Bonita Springs, FL, Carl and his wife Carole, Elizabeth, PA, Robert and his wife Diane, Constance Collins and her husband Larry, Thomas and his companion Nancy all of Belvidere, NJ; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in Earl's memory to the Belvidere Ambulance Corps, P.O. Box 128, Belvidere, NJ 07823.
