William H. McMorrow, 88, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ, after a short illness. He is survived by his wife Audrey; six children, William McMorrow, Margaret Jones, Nancy McMorrow (Tom), Jane McMorrow (Bob), Kate Spender (Stephen), Michael McMorrow (Kathleen); five step-children, Patti Tivnan (Phillip), Catherine Matos (Carlos), Deborah Elliott (Tom), Raymond Marshall, Diane Long (Ken); six grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia; his step-sons, Edward and Kenneth Marshall. William joined the Navy during WWII and served on the USS Grigg. He enjoyed working with his hands and built several homes. He was retired from a 30 year career at Picatinny Arsenal, Wharton, NJ as a tool maker. In his retirement, he was well known for his expertise as a woodcarver of beautiful birds and ducks. He was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in his memory to the charity of one's choice. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of William H. McMorrow.
